Shogun Japanese Steakhouse

We just tried to dine here this Sunday afternoon, we waited in the lobby from 1:18pm to 1:47pm without a single person coming to seat or greet us, although several passed us and made direct eye contact. Another waitress that was already tending to seated guests had to tell someone else to approach the lobby. When the man finally did, he seemed reluctant. He then assumed that we were all one party because we were black, despite the fact that we were all separated, and not conversing. When another guest asked why he would assume that he started speaking over her, saying yeah yeah yeah and then waving his wand. Food was good. Server was good. The main reason people go to a hibachi grill, the hibachi chef was terrible. A wet mop would have been more entertaining and had a better personality. When he came to the grill he didn’t talk, no introduction or anything. He didn’t do any of the tricks they usually do except a half hearted volcano. He hated his job was the image he portrayed. Not very entertaining for my grandsons birthday

Had a great service there ealier today, the food was amazing but the service was top quality. I was worried i wouldn't be able to give praise to the specific server but luckily the server name was on the reciept. Thank you Saji again for a great service and making sure we were taken care of. Also thank you for commenting on my Slipknot shirt, i know it might not seem like a big deal but made my day.

We got sat back corner which was ok! But waiter acted like he didn’t want be there and sat over at table playing on his phone and we had tell him when we needed him! Food was ok ! The table chef was not as entertaining nor as interactive with the people as I have seen previously. He just needs to step up his game. Food service was good.

The shrimp was overcooked. They dido replace them, but those were overcooked also.
