I was visiting town for a few days and had a hankering for Japanese food. I decided to order takeout and got an assortment of tempura, a California roll, and the restaurant's signature fried rice with chicken. I knew that ordering tempura for takeout wouldn't be the same quality as dining in, so my expectations were lower, but I was still hoping for something decent. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the tempura as the vegetables seemed to be unusual and the California roll was unsatisfying as well, lacking flavor and presentation.
After moving back to the area, we decided to try out Shota Sushi. We have been there twice now, once for takeout and once for dining in. The food was consistently delicious each time. The service at the table was outstanding. Our server was very friendly and attentive, regularly checking in on us and refilling our drinks. The sashimi salad was particularly delicious, with a generous portion and a delightful light dressing.
This restaurant is fantastic with delicious sushi and special dishes like Shots Specials. The tempura was outstanding and the Shota Spicy Halibut was a truly amazing dish. I arrived early and the place was empty, allowing for personalized attention from the owner. Like many other restaurants, the staff is limited, with mainly just the owner and sushi chef(s) working. I highly recommend this place!
We tried this new Sushi place in town. The staff is really friendly and willing to give recommendations. We tried 3 different rolls and all were good. The tempura is generously sized. Our party split on the taste. Half liked it and the other half said just OK. Overall this is a nice new addition to the sushi scene and we'll go back again. The decor is fresh and contemporary, yet warm and inviting.

First of all I had to keep calling 3-4 times to get someone to answer the phone, and that didn’t bother me … what bothered me is when I picked up my sushi and came home , I opened my food and immediately discovered a tiny gnat on my roll . . Never coming here again
The Food is Amazing My reason for one star is that I told our Waiter I'm Highly Allergic to Avocado ???? and although it was taken out, my food was Placed on the same Plate.
Fast service. Don?t know his name but man who welcomed us was very kind. Tempura cheesecake was fire I would recommend. Sushi was delicious!
Sashimi were so fresh; Skewers were at perfect temperature; Staffs were very attentive; Will come back to try more different dishes.

Nice outdoor seating area with super friendly staff. Beer on tap with great sushi.. what more can you ask for?!
Great food, service and staff. First place when wanting sushi. Like coming back.... Recommended!
