Celebrated my birthday at SHU Sushi House Unico, and here's the scoop. We reserved a table on OpenTable, looking forward to a memorable celebration. However, there were a few hiccups. Not only did they cancel my OpenTable reservation, but there was also no mention or offer of a complimentary dessert for my birthday, despite my boyfriend informing the waiter about the occasion. I would give 3.5/5 overall, but 4.5 for quality and presentstion! All of our sushi we ordered was so delicious and top notch quality! I took photos of everything except the spicy tuna handrolls we ordered. We got Toro, Hamachi, Sake, Hotate, Hirame, Hirame fin, Monkfish, Kinmedai, Butterfish, Ikura and quail egg and Uni. My favorite caviar truffle pasta hands down. We hold the record ordering 5 bowls of the off menu caviar truffle pasta. Love there sushi as well, also gotta have there deep friend ice cream. Great service from friendly staff. Nice ambiance, always busy get a reservation before you go.
We are local and have been going there for past 7-8 years. Unfortunately the food quality has gone down so as the atmosphere. We stop going there for now.

Went with my neighbor for dinner at Shu. The food was delicious, the service excellent and all in all we had a great time.
Great service. The fish is always the freshest ! Melt in your mouth : Most of the fish comes directly from the Japan !
