Recently visited Shyun again for lunch. Had the Wagyu Steak (medium) with rice which is done properly and tastes good.Service is fine overall until when I asked for the tax invoice. A bill was printed instead of a tax invoice as requested. The staffs said that the machine has just been changed today (19/4/2016) and not sure why there's no Australian Business Number (ABN) on the printouts. They apologise but not much effort is put into finding the ABN number.I've compared the bill with the previous tax invoices I've collected from the previous recent visits in the past few weeks. You are always welcomed warmly at Shyun and staff work quickly to find you a table. Some will find the tables too close together but I think it adds to the atmosphere. The menu is provided via an iPad although there are printed menus also available. There is a great range of food which is always well presented and abundant with flavour. The staff are pleasant and will assist anyone not comfortable with the ordering process. Three sushi and sashimi chefs man the sushi bar and the sushi/sashimi always looks wonderfully fresh. A great place for lunch.
I had several dinners with my partner in Shyun, we always loved what we ate! We usually pick many different dishes on the menu, share and enjoy, you can choose eyes closed, all is good!But if you look for a romantic dinner the place can be noisy and not cosy enough, but you can't be disappointed by their lovely food!
Been there last week for lunch with a friend. Ordered beef steak and chirashi. Beef was too tough with too much fat - my friend had to take off almost 1/4 of the it. Sashimi in Chirashi didn't look that fresh. The portions were large and the taste wasn't great, so we left about 1/3. Wouldn't recommend these 2 menu.

Lovely little spot in Carnegie. Very fast service, you order using tablets and food comes quick and its delicious. Affordable prices and good variety of food. I find limited drinks menu, I wish they had more traditional Japanese soft drinks
Came here on my visit with a friend and surprised. Little Japanese restaurant serving amazing food and sushi. Great service and amazing layout. Freshly made sushi in house was tasty :)
even though my husband think the food is average but I think the food is pretty good. It just depend on what you choose whether it's authentic or not!
Love this place the food is reasonable $$ the quality is fantastic and it is the most authentic Japanese I have had in Melbourne Highly recommended

Went to Sushi Bar two months ago. Love their Sashimi Don. Went to Ramen Bar this time. Had the Pork Signature Ramen and love it! Very nice soup!
A small place in Carnegie offering modern Japanese food. Orders are made on the iPads placed on each of the tables. Very convenient.
