Of course, I had to try their chicken pad Thai as well. It was pretty good, but it was the sweetest I’ve ever had (though that's just a matter of personal preference). I also tried an unfiltered snake wine for the first time, and it was astonishingly better than the regular filtered variety. I can’t believe I hadn’t tried it before!
The restaurant was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night, about a quarter full with some passing traffic. I’d love to return on a Saturday night for comparison. The space is surprisingly large, with around 20-30 tables, plus several outdoor picnic tables, all of which are covered. The decor is lovely but not overly fancy, and the noise level was pleasantly quiet...
Upon entering, you instantly sense a classic Thai atmosphere that feels authentic and nostalgic. I absolutely loved it! The food, served by polite and charming staff, truly makes this place a standout. We kicked off our meal with the Fresh Rolls, which were wonderfully fresh and tasty. The entrees arrived quickly thereafter and were served in generous portions. The Pad Thai was perfection, featuring noticeably fresh protein and vegetables, with a fantastic balance of savory, sweet, and salty flavors. The Bai Ka Pao, which we ordered with seafood, was deliciously spicy. This restaurant is definitely leading the pack for Thai food in St. Pete!
If you're in search of spicy, eye-watering Thai dishes, this is not the right place. I requested medium spice for each dish, but everything turned out to be no spicier than mild. My favorite dish, the Yom Ped duck salad, was bland and uninteresting. Everything was served at room temperature, which detracted from the experience. The appeal of Yom Ped lies in the contrast between the hot, crispy duck and the icy cold lettuce, and unfortunately, this dish missed that mark. On a positive note, the service was lovely, and the restaurant itself is clean and charming. Just be cautious when ordering.

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years, and the owner is one of the kindest people you could meet. I'm fortunate to fish often, but I'm not a fan of cooking fish myself, so I bring my cleaned catch here. They prepare a soup, fish fingers, and a main dish with it. Our favorite is definitely the spicy garlic. The staff is incredible too—I'm already looking forward to my next visit! And if you manage to save room for dessert, be sure to order the mango and coconut rice.
I was in the area, so I decided to stop by for a to-go order on my way home to Tampa. I ordered the pad thai and spring rolls. The spring rolls were delicious—no complaints there. However, the pad thai was just mediocre. The sauce was tangier than I anticipated and lacked flavor. I ended up having to add salt and other spices when I got home to make it palatable. I ate it because I didn't want to waste my money, but based on the pad thai, I don't feel inclined to return.
The food was excellent! We had a group of 12, and there was another large party as well, so the food took a little longer to arrive, but we didn't mind at all. It was definitely worth the wait. My favorite dish this time was the pad Thai. A squeeze of lime really elevates it; it's truly one of the best noodle dishes I've had here. We’ll definitely return the next time we’re in St. Pete!
We stopped by this restaurant after visiting Lida’s Jungle next door. We only ordered a few appetizers to sample, and we enjoyed them. We’ll definitely come back to try more of their main dishes. The interior was nice, and the entire place was filled with plants. I would recommend it!

I absolutely adore this restaurant! I've been coming here my entire life. The owner even taught me how to use chopsticks when I was a child. The food is consistently delicious—without a doubt the best Thai food in St. Pete!
Authentic and outstanding Thai cuisine! I can't recommend this place highly enough! Be sure to try their curry or Pra Ram – they’re fantastic!
