I visited Gramma in South Boston, VA, and we would be in small restaurants like this. I expected moderate steakhouse food, but properly ordered barbecue facilities, the house speciality. We were happy surprised. My son explained the Silk Mill Grille Burger as one of the best he ever had. The fries were also very good. My Southwest Chicken Salad was tasteful and delicious thanks to the dressing. I thought to leave four stars because I had been looking for a vegetarian option, but at $15 the grilled vegetable griller was overpriced on rice, so my principles 't allow to order it. Nevertheless, I will definitely have a burger or beef tips in the future again.
This was our first time in this Virginia area. It was the first time we ate in this restaurant. We thought the atmosphere was very cool. It's an old silk mill turned into a restaurant. The floors were very old and worn and we could imagine the experiences that these floors could tell if they could talk. The walls are decorated with old coils and silk wrap material, which they probably back 50 or 100 years. Our dinners were very good and we found them a great value for the money. It wasn't expensive. Our waitress was very pleasant. If we ever get back to this area, we will definitely get back in.
Great place to eat, the atmosphere was cozy. We started with drinks that were the Long Island iced tea and the UV. The Bartender gives you your money worth it! Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of our entrees because we were at the moment, but the Ribeye and Alfred Penne with Steak was on the spot! Very delicious, excellent service! Mike I think his name, I apologize if it's wrong) I warned you to contain the weather and helped me cover our slingshot before it rained. I can't say enough good things about this place. I've been here several times for lunch. They have a great menu selection that's sure to please everyone. The food is the perfect portion size, arrives quickly, and is very tasty. I've had salads and sandwiches here, and both are great. The turkey Reuben is a bit messy, but nicely loaded. It's a not a loud place, so it's perfect for chatting with colleagues or family. Recommend!
