This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I ordered takeout. I was told it would be ready by 8pm, but when I arrived at 8.10pm, I had to wait until 8.30 for my food. The fillet steak Chinese style was disappointing - it tasted like beef soaked in bicarbonate soda with no flavor. I couldn't eat more than a bite. The combination omelette was slightly better than the steak, but it was dry, burnt, and had no sauce. The chicken sweet corn soup was watery but passable. The special fried rice had a strange yellow color, lacked ingredients, and was dry and bland. This is the second time in 3 months we have ordered takeaway from Sing Hing, both times we have received an incorrect order. Both times we have ordered the same item, Combination Long Short Soup, very simple I would have thought, the first time...we received a bowl of liquid no noodles, wontons, vegetables or meat, so we had to make another trip back, this time we ordered same and we got all except no noodles! The steamed dim sims, were done in oil, tasted terrible and the fried rice was also full of oil. We will not be going back again or recommending this restaurant to our family or friends.
It was our go-to Chinese restaurant for a long time but we ordered a meal tonight to find we were served two half servings. I rang to complain and sent photos and they refused to offer another serving or refund. I was told that they...would ring back and they never did. I rang back after an hour only for them to deny that was how they delivered it to us. Why would I go to so much trouble ringing if I was making it up? It cost $63 for 2 half servings plus 2 fried rice and spring rolls. Very disappointed and I won’t go back there again.
5th or 6th time at the restaurant and once again the experience was fantastic. The food came just 10 minutes after it was ordered exceeded all expectations. The service was excellent and all the staff were extremely nice and helpful. After our meal we...left the restaurant and one of the friendly staff members ran all the way up the street to give us the leftovers we were to full to eat : 100 would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

I had a few people over for the game and we decided to have a Chinese. I have visited this place previously in person and loved the food. The ordering over the phone was simple and quick and the food arrived within the time the...specified. Once again the food tasted great and arrived nice and hot. I can’t wait to go back to the restaurant in person as the owners are very friendly and treat you like family
Best Chinese meal we’ve had in ages. This restaurant has new owners since Dec 2017. Everything we had was good spring rolls, steamed dim sims. Satay beef; rusty nails; garlic prawns; salt pepper squid. They gradually brought our dishes to the table...which is perfect do nothing goes cold. Excellent, attentive service. Will def come back. Came here with Mum and hubby. You can see by what little remained and the mess we made that we really enjoyed the whole meal. Had teriyaki chicken, rusty nails (beef), Mongolian lamb and a large fried rice. Very nice and the service from our...female waitress was very attentive. We would return.
The best Chinese food in St George! I always go for the king prawn laksa, which is absolutely divine. The service is always excellent and the management is very lovely. I am a regular customer, visiting weekly or fortnightly, and will definitely continue to do so.
