Well we walked in and found a tiny table to seat 2 people with little space around it. The waiter(6”4 with a deep intimidating voice came up to us and asked if we’re ready to order? As we couldn’t see a menu anywhere we said no and could we see a menu. No he says we don’t have one as we change on a daily basis. He then decided to reel off various things we could have like cheese toasty that we could add too. Cakes various. Vegan something or other. Eventually stopped at drinks. I’m sorry to say we won’t be going back, although the food was OK it was nothing to write home about and our friend didn’t come across as very approachable.
Confusing experience due to there being no menus. Ended up having a breakfast wrap for lunch as I didn 't know why else was available. I understand the principle behind serving seasonal produce and therefore the menu changing often but it would be much more helpful to have at least a vague idea of what 's available rather than being advised you can have a cheese toastie and add to it . What 's wrong with having the basics and maybe a specials board, or pie of the day, scone of the day etc. It 's a real shame as the food I saw coming out which I was then very jealous of, not knowing that it was available, looked lovely.
we visited richmond for a night and tried to come to lunch, but was full. the next day instead of the breakfast. extremely helpful, in the situation to advise and said they could veganize everything. made nabeby a pack with vegan speck, sausage, cheese, hash brown and mushroom and it was massive, I was a little jealous of ordering a humble avo on toast! 4 types of milk free milk available. when I paid, I noticed that some great vegan samosas were brought out, so a few were caught for the retreat. many vegan cake options also. highly recommended!
We stopped by this restaurant for dessert and coffee while exploring Richmond. The staff were very accommodating and helped us find a table even though it was crowded. There was a wide selection of cakes to choose from, more than most other cafes, and they offered a variety of types. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that half of the cakes available were vegan when we inquired. The coffee was also delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Richmond!

Lovely cafe with excellent coffee. I asked if it would be possible to make a certain iced coffee that wasn't in the menu and they were great and the coffee was really good too. Had a toastie, was also tasty but could have done with some salad on the side as well as coleslaw and crisps. Highly recommend the cherry Bakewell boba, so well priced and super tasty. Staff were chatty and smiley too.
Visited this lovely cosy cafe twice whilst recently staying in Richmond. Delicious home cooked cakes and bakes served with good coffee in a lovely friendly environment. Very reasonably priced too. Well worth popping in if you are in the vicinity.
very friendly helpful service and knowledgeable about vegan choice. we had beautiful delicious burgers with koleslaw, cheese, mushrooms and great selection of vegan cakes. we had to take them away, as unfortunately no toilets! good prices!
small caffe with several vegan options burger, packings, jackenkartoffeln, cake, not milk milk for hot drinks. the staff is very friendly and the food is very delicious. updated by previous review on 2022-04-18

Lovely little cafe great service but no loo. Thought places serving food and drink where you can sit in had to have facilities so though this was a little odd. But as said the service was amazing.
Nice cakes but had the pitta with bhaji and pitta which had a strong over powering take and when raised it was shrugged off a bit.All in all nice but not sure if I would go back
