I have eaten here on a number of occasions, and the fact that I have gone back probably tells you all you need to know, but I shall, nevertheless, add a few thoughts.This restaurant is situated on the top floor of the Baltic Art Gallery so, if you like artistic installations (I don 't) you can combine culinary and cultural pleasures. The food is good value for money and always of a high standard; you would pay much more for these sorts of dishes in London. The menu is slightly limited but, having said that, offers a good choice. Amazing choices for vegans and meat esters alike. Last night I went to SIX at BALTIC. The very small menu had 2 vegan starters, 2 vegan mains an amazing vegan dessert they sent me the birthday truffles as a surprise. As the truffles where impromptu, I checked they where vegan and they most certainly where. Everything was 10/10, delicious, pretty amazing service! They also had vegan wine/cocktails when I checked with the team. I would highly recommend it to all vegans in Newcastle/Gateshead

I ate here with my boyfriend for his birthday meal. We had the sharing platter for starter which came with different meats and foccacia bread and was beautifully presented. I had the monkfish for main which was delightful. I liked the atmosphere and the windows overlooking the quayside created a special ambience. The staff were were attentive with the drinks and my partner enjoyed a complimentary petit fours dessert for his birthday,

Today we had afternoon tea for my sisters baby shower, we had the private room and there were 24 of us in total. Everything was amazing from start to finish. Roy was so helpful and patient in helping me to organise it all and on the day the staff were incredible too, extremely helpful and attentive. Food was lovely and the views out of this world. Thank you so much.

What a treat this place was! Came here for food and drinks. The views were absolutely stunning, the food is amazing (but pricey) and the staff were lovely. I was absolutely mesmerised by the womens bathrooms here. Stunning.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here the food was excellent and the service was also outstanding. Our waitress recommended a lovely Pinot Grigio which totally complimented the food.
