Went awhile back and they were not very accommodating. There was a (burger of the day type thing) and I offered to pay more to have one small change due to an allergy. They told me they couldn't do it unless I ordered the same exact burger as a custom burger. Doing this would be close to doubling the price. As a result I only got fries. At the Smash Burger in East Hanover I had a similar issue. They charged our table for a gluten free bun which they didn't give to us because they ran out. First experience here not the best would have been just as satisfied, if not more, with Burger King. There were 2 people running the entire place. I had asked the person working the counter why so little staff. He said someone called out. If this was my restaurant I would have gone to help the poor staff working like dogs to keep the place open. The owner should be ashamed of his/herself.

Loves this Smashburg location. My order is always correct in contrast to the other places I visited. The team is very friendly and the manager Bruce is about and asks every customer if everything is okay. Talk about customer service in a fast food restaurant!
I had a really good burger and shake here. We stumbled upon this place by chance while in the area for a football game and needed something quick to eat. The service was great, and we will definitely be coming back.
Good burgers, but it seems like short staff every time I visit. If you cannot wait for 10-15 minutes. Don’t go to this location. Slippery /dirty floors. Much prefer the Totowa and East Hanover locations
