Smithfield 's Chicken 'n -b-q

This is a great place to get chicken tenders or some descent 'Q while on the road. It 's also my new favorite place to grab a bite to go before charging the Tesla in the mall across the street! The staff has stereotypical southern patience and friendliness (I watched a cashier help an older woman taking more than 5+ minutes to decide on an order), the bathrooms are clean, and there 's plenty of places to sit in the cavernous dining room. We found the portion sizes large enough to share, and the meat high quality if a little light on the salt. It 's definitely designed to go along with one of the sauces for most people 's tastes. Definitely stopping here again on the next trip south.

This is about as close to the real NC Bar-b-que of the old days when there were many small local joints that smoke their own pigs. Meat is used Minced not pulled pigs. Smithfield is good, quality quanity wise. I live in Fla. But whenever I visit family, I always go a few times to satisfy my crow '

Polit wait staff! They brought us more sauce, a free drink and checked us all the time. Nice to meet you. Good grill was also the vinegar sauce great.

Excellent food service. With the family stopped. Children loved the food and received balloons

Well roasted chicken and decent BBQ. Sauce is pure n c vinegar. Portions are big.
