We enjoyed a relaxing lunch with the family at this charming restaurant. The food was truly delicious, and the service was satisfactory. We sat by the entrance and noticed many people coming in, seemingly unsure whether to wait for service or find a table on their own. The staff seemed a bit disorganized at first, which left a less-than-great first impression. However, despite that initial confusion, we decided to stay, and it turned out to be a hidden gem in a lovely part of historic Rochester.
Lovely quaint place right next to the castle. Indoor seating with seating upstairs (mind the uneven stairs) and lots of seating outside looking up at Rochester Castle. Good drinks choice and if you are a gin connoisseur then this place is for you. Food was very nice and beautifully presented. Pork belly I had was scrumptious along with the triple cooked hand cut chips. Reason for 4 stars was the portion size was a bit small, but that is probably just me. Definitely worth a visit.
beautiful decorated, love atmosphere, practical, fast service, much to choose (over 100 gins! and good food. we had the porridges and the belly, which was delightful, but was a little disappointed in the size of the meal taking into account the price. however order a side of chips and fill them out!
I had a fantastic breakfast at the Cheese Room Botanicals. The atmosphere was beautiful, especially with the cozy fire, and the staff were incredibly friendly. It's definitely one of the tastiest breakfasts I've had on Rochester High Street, all at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it!

Great little place for lunch and breakfast. We were just passing through to visit the castle and cathedral. Obviously vey old but beautiful dressed in side and has an alcohol license, specialising in gin. Must be a very pleasant place to visit in the evening!
The restaurant boasts a stylish decor and ample seating. The staff was prompt and welcoming, offering an excellent menu along with a diverse selection of drinks, with a special emphasis on gins from around the world.
One of my favourite places in Rochester, always delicious food. Very polite and positive staff, always happy to help.
Great small dishes we had the pork belly and the cheese croquettes that were amazing!
