If you're a meat lover, you've likely heard of Smokey Moo. This restaurant specializes in American-style low and slow BBQ and continues to expand its offerings. Smokey Moo opened its doors in 2020 at Gasworks Plaza in Newstead, though it had been operating for a few years prior in East Brisbane. We tried to visit a few months back, but due to COVID restrictions on restaurant capacity, it was already at its limit when we arrived. We interpreted this as a sign of its popularity, so we decided to make a reservation with a larger group instead.

5 start for smokey moo. as an enthusiastic little slow lover myself I find that I am quite critical about restaurants that offer me the hours to do me, and the bar is in the regular quite high. but these young have blown my socks off. interesting service and fantastic eating. weather they are someone who hours beside a smoker in their own backyard like me or have never tried low and slow food before. they're being blown away from eating. great atmosphere and a fantastic meal. great work. I'm 100% back. a

I had a delightful evening meal at Smokey Moo, which turned out to be a wonderfully amusing and flavorful dining experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It truly felt like a culinary adventure filled with expertly smoked meats. A special shoutout to Wesley and Isabel, who were incredibly charming and contributed to the great atmosphere. I can't wait to return!

Tried 1st time for my wife's birthday dinner. It was surprisingly good. You could cut that meat with your elbow!!Beautifully prepared meat variations within the platter we ordered. Yoyo made our son’s 14th Birthday dinner. He was fun, attentive and entertaining. The food is outstanding, even the reluctant meat eaters loved it too. that was delicious. the mini dirty dozen with a small side of koleslaw (not so small) all delicious. good selection of cocktails and cocktails. very friendly service.
