My husband and I decided to get take-out from Smokin Piggy's. We were intrigued by the menu and excited for our meal. After placing our order, we were informed that it would take 15 minutes because the food was made fresh. We didn't mind the wait for fresh food. I ordered the Longhorn, a poutine with brisket ends. While the portion size was generous, I was disappointed by the lack of brisket and the old, unappetizing fries. It seemed like the fries had been microwaved, which was disappointing. As a large individual, I was initially concerned about the seating at this restaurant but after reaching out to the owner, she promptly addressed my worries by adding sturdier chairs. The menu offered a variety of options with generous portions, though taste preferences varied among our group. I enjoyed the brisket on a kaiser roll with special bbq sauce, while my wife had mixed feelings about her pulled pork sandwich and Caesar salad. Our friends also had mixed reviews on their dishes. We heard of this place through friends and decided to give it a try. The portions where huge and freshly made. We enjoyed everything we tried. The fries where amazing the wings where huge and well cooked. The sauce was pretty good but we felt there ciuld have been a touch more, or maybe on the table. Next time we will try another sauce and maybe get some extra on the side. We also had the poraroe skins (the pled pork inside was great) and the shrimp and grits. Both where good.

This bbq place started as a food truck on the outside of town. They have recently moved into a very nicely renovated little space right at the main intersection in town. Family run, and very friendly. They serve a good selection of typical bbq items. It was my first trip yesterday. I tried the pulled pork sandwich. Very generous portion. I always liked to eat at the food truck, heck it was close to work. The pulled pork was good but nothing to write home about....Everything went down hill when they moved to a building location. it no longer had the same appeal.

We tried take out and I ordered two pulled pork sandwiches and fries. There was a huge amount of food but the taste on the pulled pork wasn't very good and the sandwiches were dry. The fries were way over done.

Creative southern BBQ with all the trimmings. I like to take out and bring this food home for dinner. Their ribs and pull pork are excellent. Their trimming and side dishes add to the flavourable experience.

Definitely did not live up to expectations. We wanted to give this restaurant a try instead of heading out of town. The food seemed to be reheated and cold (gross!).

The food at this restaurant is amazing. So far, I've tried the poutine with pulled pork and the poutine with bacon and onions, and both were delicious.
