This place came highly recommended and so I decided to try it when meeting up with my childhood best friend. I got there about 15 minutes early for my reservation but was not seated until my friend showed up..... even though the place was half empty. The service was slow but I will cut them some slack because the waitress was short staffed and working hard to do the best she could. That being said, the food was really great! We had the chicken teriyaki wontons and lobster knuckle sandwich for appetizers and we each had different burgers as the main course. The food was so good we both ordered food just to take home with us. The fruits alone were worth the price of admission. The drinks were also excellent! The ambiance is typical bar experience, kind of like modern rustic, leaning towards a little dark inside. Plenty of free parking both in front and extra in back. But the lot is shared with other shops, so parking can be hit or miss. Overall, it was a likeable experience that I would definitely return for. Next time I'll try the Rockville Center location, since it's actually closer to me and surrounded by more restaurants and bars and parking. Parking: The parking lot is shared with other shops
The cocktails were VERY good, spicy peach margarita and blueberry lemon drop martini. Very pleasantly surprised at how balanced they tasted. The peach and burrata appetizer was so good. Great blend of tastes with the creamy burrata, sweet peach, arugula, crostini crunch and the hot honey. The crunchy kale salad was also super good and interesting. The kale is air fried or cooked crispy somehow which changes the salad completely in the best way. Very satisfying. The burger was a bit wet and messy which is why I’m giving 3 stars because he was craving a burger hard and this didn’t quite hit but we will be back because I know they’re known for their burgers!! Parking: There’s a parking lot in the back but it is kind of hard to access. Parking down the side street across wantagh ave would be better.
Still sitting here at the bar as I type and just finished the best tasting Grilled Chicken Sandwich I have ever had anywhere.Food: Wonderful.
