Snooze, An A.m. Eatery

I love this place! I live in Austin and have been to the two locations here! They are great too! The hospitality at the Houston location was really exceptional though, they were busy as could be, we just “plopped” down at the first available open seating at the bar, instantly we were welcomed, orders taken, and the meal came out great!Two bartenders, one focuses on well drinks, and espresso machine, the other one juggles bar top service and Togo’s. Really efficient dynamic duo. (Staff on Sunday 6/25.)Drinks were never less than half full. The strawberry pancakes are ridiculous. Portions are perfect. Side of bacon made the pancakes “explode”.

5-stars all around for Snooze. The decoration, the service, the food, and the cleanliness were all above and beyond. We went early enough in the morning that we didn’t have to wait and there was plenty of parking, but I can see how this place gets packed during busy hours. Extensive drink and food menus. We split the pancake flight and they were some of the best pancakes we’ve ever had. Reasonably priced for a meal that could feed a small army.

Great breakfast spot. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs. Super fast and delicious. I will make sure I go back. I went out of .y comfort zone and had the sweet potatoes with asparagus, red onions and mushrooms with an overeasy egg. Super delicious and low calorie and low sodium. Loved it! My husband had the Belle Bella Bennie, He said it was very good.

The food is okay but not great. The bacon I got was stone cold. Their OMG French toast is good but not great, only real flavor was sweet. The coffee is way too strong. The waitress was good. The place seemed clean but the floor was slippery.
