Nothing special about this place. Appearance wise, it is very outdated and the food was mediocre. I met a friend for dinner and this was half way for us which is why we needed up here. It was a 45 minute drive and not very worth it. The jalapeño margarita was good but was 90% ice. It also was not included in the happy hour special so it was $10. Not worth it in my opinion. We started with the Mexican Pasta which was a special. Tasted okay but the pasta was undercooked. I like al dente but this was hard to chew. For my dinner I ordered the shredded chicken tacos. The food presentation was excellent, and our waitress, Kait, was very attentive. The food itself was delicious. However, the hostess who seated us seemed primarily focused on her own tables. She placed the menus on our table and then walked away. When she seated another couple, she promptly offered them water, brought them chips and salsa, and took their drink order, all while offering us nothing at all. After tending to her tables, she then informed Kait that she had seated two people in her section.
I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant since I'm from the area, but unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. The service was atrocious; our server seemed annoyed that we were even there. I considered leaving, but my family was hungry and I hoped the food would compensate for the poor service. Sadly, the food was just as disappointing—bland and overcooked. The drinks were okay, but our server never returned to check if we wanted another round. I definitely won't be coming back.
The food was enjoyable, but our server vanished and suddenly became the bartender without saying a word. She left us to fetch our own drinks and our check, and didn’t even ask if we wanted dessert. However, she was quick to offer to take our payment! Usually, I’m understanding when things go awry, but the lack of restaurant standards and basic courtesy from this server was disappointing.

We visited for lunch and noticed that the staff seemed more focused on rolling silverware than attending to the only customers in the restaurant. It took more than 10 minutes for them to take our drink order and bring us water. The rice was not fresh and definitely tasted leftover. Overall, we were quite disappointed.

I dined at SOL for dinner and had a wonderful experience. Our waitress made us feel like we were the only guests in the restaurant. The mango mahi mahi was incredible, and the tamale was quite large—perfect for sharing as an appetizer.
This place just doesn't make good food. I feel bad because the servers seem nice but I would never come back until they fix the frozen food and watered down Sangrias. Friends had scary sea food and I had the chicken.

This is the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The tamale was just sweet corn mush, and the enchiladas were a greasy, flavorless disaster. Even the rice and beans were disappointing.
Love this place great food selection of drinks. Nice staff totally ideal very humble nice interior.
