Sol Toro has a great Taco Tuesday deal with their Taco Special of the day. And if you don't want to leave your meal up to the Taco Tuesday gods, the tacos a la carte are not that much more expensive. Coming in, we were seated by the host and our waitress came to give us our menus. The ambiance is lively and elevated casual. The space is a little more modern but the vibes are definitely for everyone having a great time. I've visited this restaurant twice in the last two months for Taco Tuesday. I noticed they have a rewards program where you earn stamps for dining in on a Tuesday or Wednesday. After collecting six stamps, you can redeem them for a free entree. I asked to receive stamps for my visit yesterday and for my previous trip on October 3rd, as I had a photo of the receipt as proof. Additionally, I had checked in at the restaurant. Our waitress, who was wonderful, mentioned she needed to consult her manager. Unfortunately, he declined my request for the stamps, despite the documentation I provided. He even gave us only two cards instead of three, even though my father, who dined with us, had stepped...
The food, drinks and service always go beyond expectations. If anything needs to be changed, the servers and management go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. This last trip included a special menu item for Mexican Independence Day and was one of the best meals we've ever had. I wish they would add this as a regular menu item! Otherwise, we love the fajitas, shrimp ceviche, spicy pina margaritas, burritos, and tableside guacamole especially when Lucia adds her magic. Everything is above par!
I required a special accommodation since I can't have tortilla chips, and the staff was incredibly helpful in making it work. They prepared a plate of peppers and carrots for me to enjoy with the tableside guacamole we ordered, which was fantastic! In addition to the guacamole, I had the shrimp fajitas, and they were delicious. My husband ordered chicken tacos and loved them as well. He was also pleasantly surprised by how much he enjoyed the strawberry moonshine.

The food here is excellent, reasonably priced, and the service is outstanding. I tried the chicken tacos in a soft corn tortilla shell, but I would opt for flour tortillas next time. My husband enjoyed a large and tasty chicken quesadilla. Both dishes were served with rice and refried beans, and the table chips were plentiful and delicious. Aside from my preference for flour tortillas over corn, we had no complaints. Overall, I would rate the food a 4.
We ate at Sol Toro last night for the first time prior to a concert in the arena and it was amazing! The food was delicious (we had the empanadas as an appetizer, I had the chicken tacos (the best I've ever had) and my friend had the chicken quesadilla--all of it was beyond delicious). Service was great and loved the ambiance. Will definitely be back!!
