The first time I went a month or two ago by myself and the lady working was kind. I met I think her husband too and he was also very kind, especially when I spoke a little Korean. The food was really good, just a bit overpriced. The second time I went with my family, 7 people and the lady sighed as soon as we walked in. I wasn 't sure if she remembered me but she sat us at a table for 6 and pulled another chair, which wasn 't enough room for us so my dad pulled a table from the table of 8 to ours. Atmosphere wasn’t that of a 5 star dining experience, but you’re not going to Sole Cafe for that. You’re going to Sole Cafe for the amazing, top tier, home cooked Korean food. This restaurant is definitely one of, if not the best, Korean restaurant in the twin cities. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal. We met the owners briefly, who happen to be an elderly couple. They’re both extremely kind, very friendly, and love their customers. Please be kind to them, as they’re very good people.
This restaurant is a true hidden gem! The food is incredibly delicious and authentic. It is owned by a delightful elderly Korean couple who are attentive and treat their customers well. Make sure to communicate your spice preferences to them so they can adjust the level accordingly. They frequently checked on us and kept our drinks and sides refilled. Our dining experience was fantastic. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious! The tteokbokki was a particular favorite.
A small restaurant, close to 20 per person. The taste is average, just pure spiciness without aroma or layering. And as a service industry, no matter what happens privately, at least you have a good attitude on the surface, right? Are you obviously a little impatient with us, and do you think we don’t understand what Xiba means? I originally wanted to give it two stars. Since we are both Asians, I will add one star for friendship.

The food was amazing, tasting just as authentic as I remember from my childhood when I lived there for 5 years. The banchan was delicious and replenished regularly, the bulgogi was tender, and the dolsot bibimbap was sizzling hot the whole time we were eating, giving me plenty of crispy rice bits. The woman serving us was very kind and packed up our leftovers. I will definitely be returning.
A wonderfully comfy place with great food and service. I came in for lunch and had the Korean Seafood Pancake for an appetizer and Galbi for lunch. Both were amazing. The server was kind and attentive, even letting me know how to finish off the Galbi.
The food at this restaurant is delicious and the service is great. It is one of the most authentic Korean meals you can find in town. There is both street and lot parking available behind the restaurant.
Genuinely one of the best meals I have ever had. Highly recommend, and the service was great!
