Sole Italiano - Reservar una mesa

My family and I just celebrated our kids' graduation at Sole. We had a large party and this was our first restaurant experience in quite a while! From past dinners, we knew the gnocchi and sausage/mushroom pastas would be delicious, and they were. The gnocchi is one of the best around! The pork tenderloin and chicken were also generous in size and tasty. Our waitress, Karen, did an amazing job! She made our night perfect she was cheerful, attentive, and helpful. There is a saying in the restaurant world that great food brings customers in, but great service brings them back. And we will be back! Thanks Karen!!!

Love this place! The friendliest, authentic Italian American welcome They have delicious food on the menu we loved the bruschettas, caprese salad and truffle gnocchi. But they also will take requests from the secret menu i usually ask for Eggplant Parmesan, they usually have it and it is the most delicious i 've ever tasted! This place is a must go if you 're in San Mateo (or even witin a 25 mile radius Easy street parking right in front. Nice quiet patio at the back too.

Patio is fantastic. Heated and right in the middle of things. Perfect for people watching. Fungi risotto was amazing. We got some dressed melon that was fantastic. And Italian style digestives at the end of dinner!

Great food! The bread they brought out for us very first was delicious. We got the gnocchi and ravioli (vegetarian) for dinner and a cannoli for dessert which were also amazing. Will definitely go back.

We drive a few hours for this amazing food. No one does gnocchi like this chef. Best we have ever had. The other dishes are delicious too. We come for the home made pasta as often can.
