This is an exceptional restaurant and certainly hold its own to fine dining experiences found in any metropolitan capital. Every dish is executed perfectly. Its total luxury, yet there is a delicate touch that is never too rich, everything is nicely balanced and beautifully plated the pigeon was perfectly cooked and the sweet breads are the best I've ever had. The chef is a delight, he truly does care, he greets the diners, explains the menu and will discuss the sourcing of ingredients. The wines on offer are excellent and adventurous, showcasing some of the best that Spain offers trust the waiter's advice he knows his stuff. We hand the set menu Sol with the wine pairing, which was €60 all together. The wines were quite interesting and the first snack, the tuna tartare starter and the dessert were very good. However both the fish and pork main courses were a bit disappointing, both fish and pork were a bit rubbery. And I know fine dining portion sizes can be small, and molecular gastronomy blah blah, but as you can see on the pics these portions were really very small! To be clear though this was not a bad experience by any stretch, just not great.

If you're looking for an amazing restaurant in Nerja book a table at sollun. They offer a tasting menu which, for the price, is a must have dinner. Spread over 3 hours the dishes they offer are amazing they mix in a varied choice including multiple fish dishes and meat dishes. For those who are looking for something a little special but not heavy on the wallet you will not be disappointed. I have included photos of each of the dishes (we went for the larger tasting menu which offered more dishes)

Fantastic dinner, with authentic and well elaborate food, full of flavour.The tartar and elegant and with different textures, the Pargo was with an amazing textured meat and delicious Bilbaina sauce, and the pig cheeks were yummy tender and accompanied by a rich sauce, Desert very interesting combination. By far the best restaurant in Nerja with an exquisite cuisine and an outstanding service (the sommelier is just great and offers plenty of information to the choices of wine and drinks). Note: this restaurant is recommended for gourmets and connaisseurs of good, fresh and tasty food only. For all others, Nerja offers plenty of choices.

Amazing meal, just amazing. Every dish was super delicious. I don't remember the last time I enjoyed every single dish this much. The wine paring was perfect and right on spot. The chef and staff were great and I hope to come again.
