Came in last weekend for breakfast with my wife and son, and we were excited to try it. The menu looked really good so we were excited. My wife ordered the biscuit plate, and it was not good. The biscuits were cold and hard, the ramekins with butter, jam and honey were less than half full. My wife was going to order pancakes and sausage from the kids menu for our son, but the server talked her into the regular menu item(for more which is fine. The pancakes also were not good, cold and hard to cut. The sausage was good. I tried to order steak and eggs, but they were out, no problem, but then they were also out of Chilaquiles. This was at about 9AM so pretty early in the am to be out of so man...
The first time I ordered from Solstice was a disaster. The food was cold, biscuit was hard and potatoes might've been recooked about 3x since they were crusty and oily. Nevertheless, I decided to give this restaurant another try as mistakes happen. For $9, I ordered a breakfast burrito and potatoes. My burrito was 3/4ths tortilla and 1/4 scrambled egg with sausage. It was like eating warm bread with a touch of egg. The potatoes were better this time, but the portion was tiny. Will not be ordering from here again!
Breakfast of eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast were good and fresh. Although portions are modest, I enjoyed the atmosphere and excellent cup of coffee. Service was abrupt and arguably slow as we and one other couple were the only customers in the restaurant. The 3% add on for using a credit card was a surprise and for that reason alone, regardless of the quality of food, I will eat at other good restaurants nearby.
Ordered carry out from this restaurant for the first time and what a disappointment. I've attached pictures of what we received: sparse portions, burned eggs, over cooked potatoes, and hard/cold sausage. The food certainly doesn't live up to the cost we paid for it.... pretty expensive given the small portion sizes and food quality We were excited to try this place out and sadly we won't be coming back.

This place is great because they let you have dogs on their patio, which makes it a great place to hang out on the weekends for breakfast or brunch. But sometimes they are very understaffed, but they try to make it right. It's not like I'm a VIP but I really feel bad for the staff who seems stretched so thin, so I feel bad asking them for stuff. Also not to be piggy, but the portions could be bigger.
Second time breakfast. Not bad 1st time, not good today. Asked for well tasted muffin, got hardly warm and soggy muffin with a teaspoon of eggs with spinach. Few potato cubes were ok, coffee was ok. Paid $15 for coffee and 1 egg essentially, waitress did not even ask why I left so much on a plate. Sad.
The food is good but they are so skimpy. I Ordered 2 buffalo chicken sandwiches carry out, and each sandwich had a sliver of chicken. If I combined the two pieces from each sandwich into one, it still wouldn't be a proper sandwich. I also got like 7 frys. It really felt like they didnt care.
Still a great brunch restaurant, but sadly they will close at the end of this month (September 2019). Luckily, they will be opening a new full restaurant in Lagrange at the end of the year, which will also include a microbrewery on site.

Really enjoy the Cuban sandwich (torta) with the side of summer squash soup! My husband and I shared the order. Full belly! Thanks.
