I’m so pleased that there are such great places to eat lunch in the middle of west Roxbury center. This gem of a restaurant was not packed at lunch time, they offer a nice lunch menu that includes and appetizer, an entree and a drink. Apart from being quite affordable the food was delightful. The shrimp rolls where fresh and hardy with all those crunchy vegetables, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The Basil rice was so colorful and jam packed with flavor. There was so much shrimp and the portion was so big I took some home to eat later. Ithey also have Thai iced tea!!!! I recommend this place for anyone stopping by in West Roxbury, I know the locals love this place and come visit...
Somtum has been on my list of Thai places to try for a while now, and they really delivered on flavor! I stopped by for take-out this weekend and ordered the basil fried rice with tofu and the tom yum soup. The tom yum soup was spicy perfection and everything that I wanted on a cold day. The basil fried rice was a super generous size for the money--I should have leftovers for 1-2 days depending on how hungry I get! I also showed up 15 min before my order time and my food was ready for me anyways! Score! Doesn't get any better than that. Can't wait to go back soon and try more of the menu.
Ordered duck fried rice, Bom choy dinner and chocolate cake for delivery. Delivery time wasn’t too bad, but delivery guy was rushing to leave he didn’t take the cash tip I had for him.The food was really good. Unfortunately there was a REALLLLLLLY long hair in the rice. I mean like horse mane long. Maybe this is one of those dine in only places. I’ve lost my appetite now. How unfortunate.
We enjoyed a delicious meal to celebrate my son's 34th birthday. The Shrimp Pad Thai was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. My son's favorite dish, Drunken Noodles With Beef, did not disappoint. The Chicken Basil was a tasty addition to our meal, and the Red Curry with Chicken was simply amazing. Overall, the food was fantastic.

We chose to eat at the restaurant on a Friday night. We were the only diners at first, but a few more people arrived after us. We ordered crab rangoons, green papaya salad, ginger crispy duck, and mango curry. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was great.
I haven't had Thai food this delicious in years. You can revisit your old favorites and they will make it feel like a whole new experience with their fresh ingredients and expertise. I recommend trying their own special dishes for a real treat. Their noodles and dumplings are especially delicious.
This spot is my preferable place! Inside restaurant is relatively clean, all staffs follow CDC guidelines for COVID19. We had crab fired rice and crispy duck with tamarind sauce for our dinner. They were super solid! I’ll send my friends to this restaurant with no hesitation.
Such a good spot. Competes with Phuket and another Thai restaurant on Centre St., but keeps up with more of a country, homemade selection. I love the ground pork Kapow. Still only open for takeout now.

Would definitely recommend trying this spot. Excellent atmosphere, fresh dishes, excellent customer service. Fantastic work.
Basil pad thai was in poor quality, dried bland with with no actual flavor. Very disappointed.
