Songkran Thai Restaurant

During a trip to St. Albert, we decided to stop by this restaurant while running errands and were pleasantly surprised. Despite its simple exterior and old decor, the food turned out to be excellent. I had my doubts about the authenticity of the cuisine at first, but the menu quickly reassured me. The availability of photos for most dishes made ordering a breeze. We tried the pad thai, red curry, coconut rice, and tom yum gung soup. The tom yum was a bit on the sweet side for my taste, but still enjoyable. The pad thai and curry were delicious, and the portions were generous. If we ever find ourselves craving Thai food in St. Albert again, we will definitely return.

Made a reservation the night before. It was a group of 7. Friends from out of town. So I wanted to make sure we got a table. Got there and was told I had no reservation. Food was really good, but the service wasn't great. 6 out of 7 people at our table got their food. I asked the server about my sons food. Which was only plain yellow noodles. Because he has issues with food textures/sensitivies.Everyone was almost done by the time my son got his food. ?I would like to go back because we all have off days. It was just disappointing. Next time I will confirm my reservation the afternoon of.

This place had VERY good dishes: the almond stir fry with beef was perfectly cooked, not over-spiced (or under-spiced), and the veggies were perfectly crispy. The only Mark against this place: the almonds were stale.My wife had the pad thai tom yum, which was all about lemon grass amd texture, really tasty.My son had beef noodle soup was great, star anise showed, noodles were perfect, and the beef was near perfectly cooked.Giving 5 stars because 4 aren't enough. Will try again.

Amazing Thai food experience. This is always a go to restaurant for us when we visit St. Albert.The food is impeccable. So good. This is amongst some of the best Thai food we've had in the Edmonton and surrounding area.The service is always good and friendly.And the space is humble and cozy.4 x ???? Reserva una mesa ahora

I've ordered out from them before, but went today for lunch with a friend. Songkran doesn't disappoint! Service was friendly and attentive- she answered any questions we had. The food was flavourful and portion size was perfect.Highly recommend! (Try their Thai Iced tea....yuuuummmm)

I had a wonderful experience at this Thai restaurant. The waitress was extremely friendly and accommodating. The Pad Thai was delicious, the red curry with prawns was outstanding - the prawns were very large! The salad rolls were also exceptional, some of the best I have ever tasted.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was so impressed that I decided to write a review. The food was fantastic, the portions were generous, and the staff was very friendly. I definitely plan on coming back to try more dishes from the menu soon!

St. Albert's newest Thai restaurant does not disappoint! The food is excellent and the service is great. We will definitely go back...again and again...Every dish was delicious and the fried bananas with ice cream are to die for. Reserva una mesa ahora

They have quite a lot on the menu and majority of the dishes we had were great! Their portion is pretty big! We ordered enough for dinner and leftovers for lunch! I highly recommend their Tom Yum soup and mango sticky rice!!!

My first time dining at Songkran and I will definitely be back. I ordered the Yellow Curry and it was delicious! The serving staff were very friendly. Convenient parking available.
