Sonic Drive-in - Reserva de mesa

My husband and I didn't have a hole lot of money after paying bills this week but we had a $20 gift card so we chose to use it at Sonic in Pekin. We've been here before and never had any problems. Aterter ordering at the drive thru we waited awhile to get up to the window, while there the young lady opened the window and gave us our oder the closed the window,we were missing a large drink. She opened the window and told us it wasn't on the receipt and when I showed her it was she rolled her eyes shut the window to go get the soda. This used to be a classic spot, but it's really gone downhill. I waited nearly 56 minutes for my food because I was told it had been dropped on the floor. There was no compensation offered, just a comment that they would get it to me when it was ready. Meanwhile, I saw five other people receive their meals. The drive-thru was bustling, but my wait was longer than anyone else's. To top it off, the staff member was a bit rude when explaining the situation. Despite all of this, I still left a tip because I didn't want to be one of those people who doesn't tip.

Every single item I ordered was either missing or completely different from what I expected. The pretzel dog turned out to be a coney dog, the double cheeseburger was actually a single burger, the fries never arrived, and the mozzarella sticks were replaced with onion rings (although they did include marinara). I honestly don’t think they could have messed this up any more if they had tried.

The whole idea is to sit in your car. Car hop to come out. They have a 2x3 note that says Apple pay isn't working. I don't have Apple pay. It doesn't take any card. Ten minutes later I walked to the employee entrance. Hard to get someone . They hadn't even pulled my ticket. Just waiting on cars that went through drive through. Reserva una mesa ahora

Not so good. Ordered a simple two meal supper and waited 20 min. Screen said someone was on their way with our order and 20 min later…. We left. Kids were going in and out that didn’t appear to work there or they weren’t in a hurry to work. Hard to tell. Not hardly any customers either. Looks like possibly the cat was away ….

We had Supersonic double cheeseburgers , one small order of fries and one small order of tots. The burgers were big and delicious, the fries and tots were also quite good but very small portions for cost. None the less we will continue to enjoy Sonic drive-in.

I didn’t have enough on my card to pay for my meal, but they still helped me out. I really appreciate that! The service was excellent, and the food was great too.

Fried stuff tastes funny and sweet. Love the burgers and hot dogs.
