Owls Nest - Reserva de mesa

We were looking for something new and this was recommended by a friend. I'm glad they recommended. The Owls Nest is a great neighborhood bar/restaurant with very friendly staff. The atmosphere is casual, with plenty of seating at the bar or tables. I had wings, which were really good. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich with slaw that she really enjoyed. Heather did a great job taking care of us. We'll definitely be back to try out their Thursday fried chicken special. It looked delicious!!

We went out for dinner and drinks, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We waited at our table while others came into the bar and were seated next to us, and the waitress served the regulars before attending to us. Feeling frustrated, we decided to leave and head to One World Cafe on Main Street. There, we enjoyed Long Island Iced Teas, hummus with veggies, and wraps for our main course. One World is a place you can always rely on for a good experience.

I have eaten at the Owl's Nest several times and it has always been a good experience. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is well cooked and flavorful with sizeable portions. Monday's half price pizza is excellent, I love the thin crispy crust, and distribution of toppings/cheese. The Friday fish special is another excellent meal, the walleye filets and sides are plentiful. The French fries are the bomb! Price per person: $10–20

I began visiting this restaurant because of the artwork. While the pizza wasn't exactly to my taste, it was still pretty good for what it was. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. Pizza is great. Gonna have to ask for extra sauce. Homemade onion rings can be good if cooked properly. It is a hit and miss on food quality, now days. I will update review if it gets better.
