Wouldn't it be wonderful if this business owner learns how to take constructive criticism and also understand that reviews are based on experience. Don't take it so personal not everyone is going to like your bagels or have a good experience. Kudos to you Sonny it's your business and it's also my review, in which I'm entitled to make a remark! It appears when there is a negative review you can't take it nevertheless have a good day and good luck to you!
First tried this place back in December 2022. Bagels are made fresh daily. You know this bagel place is serious when my girlfriend's best friend whose about 2hrs from NJ comes to Sonny's for breakfast. My girlfriend ordered bagels to travel with she's very serious about their bagels also lol. I had a strawberry cream cheese bagel and my girlfriend had the cream cheese chive one. I highly recommend the bagels they are really good.
We ordered two bagels with lox, lox cream cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. However, we only received the lox cream cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes, but still got charged for the lox. Additionally, the salted bagel was rock hard. This is the third time I've had a hard bagel from this place. My advice: make sure to check your order before leaving. As for me, I won't be returning.
The bagels are cooked very well. As for flavor, these run from the cinnamon raisin as perfect to the pumpernickel as, well, not. The prices have increased steadily and while I understand many likely reasons for this it's still the case bagels for $2 each are a luxury item for a family with kids. Reserva una mesa ahora
Delicious bagels and amazing customer service! The owner, Jason, is a class act. I was visiting from out of town and he threw in a few extra items for me to try and bring back to Nashville. Needless to say my husband was VERY happy. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.
Stopped in this afternoon after a visit to Seton Hall. Owner started chatting with me and provided free sample and was incredibly nice. This place is 100% legit. phenomenal bagels! Super customer service. If you’re in the area, stop in. I’ll be back!
The bagels here are consistently fresh and delicious. They're open from 6 AM to 1 PM. If you find yourself in the South Orange, NJ area, this is the spot to visit for breakfast. Make sure to grab a coffee as well. I highly recommend this place!

The bagels are very yummy, and they even have vegan cream cheese. I decided to get a poppy seed bagel today and I think I will do that much more often. The staff is very friendly, especially Sam.
