The menu is shrunk on one side (welcome noted with starter, main dish and dessert). I had ordered other supplements, but I didn't get what I had ordered. After the court went back to the kitchen, I got it back 1 minute later with the remark that the supplement I chose would be below. I had ordered potato gratin and got boiled potato cubes. The food was delicious. The portions are not lush, but ok and at the menu of the house we found the price performance ratio appropriate. However, it was very loud (restaurant was very well visited) and the service was not entirely with the thing there were 2 drinks orders forgotten and we were already asked for the appetizer if we still want a dessert. There was apparently some confusion and no agreement between the various waiters. They were very kind. Too bad the atmosphere was so restless and unreleased, you don't want to yell at dinner because the noise level is so high... Maybe it's not always that...
For my birthday, I invited my small family in Kerpen in the evening. These were 9 people, including 3 children aged 11 to 3 years. The table was very nicely covered on arrival, including chair, the service friendly and expert, the selection was not huge, but wide fanned and therefore sufficient, the food was very good and plentiful, special requests were met without any problems, the price-performance ratio was absolutely lace. Special thanks are given to the staff who took care of the 3 children who were all 3 during the meal and after that were extremely childlike.

It can be comfortably eaten in the carefree. Due to the size of the guest room, it can unfortunately also be quite loud with full occupation. The service is very courteous and nice also that separate dishes are always exchanged for new ones. Meat fish and noodle lovers never come too short here.
There are only 5 totally overpriced dishes to choose from. For example, the carefree castle costs a little over 10, € in the daily ticket and on the evening ticket over 16, € with the same supplement.
It has a great ambience. The staff is super nice and competent. And the food was just great. We are happy to come back and recommend a visit to everyone.
