This is by far one of the best experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. The service was exceptional only to be beat by how delectable the food was. The carbonara was cooked to perfection and the bolognese was the most flavorful thing I had tasted in a while. All the courses far exceed my expectations. Derrick was a great server. You will not be disappointed here. The food from every course was flavorful.
Our entire experience was fantastic. My cocktail (extra dirty martini, Tito's) was cold and perfectly made. Our appetizers (Bread service and charcuterie) were quickly served, and delicious, which was the same for the entrees (Branzino and Shortrib ravioli). But it our server who was truly awesome....attentive without being overly so, and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, great experience.
This place NEVER lets me down. They have the best Italian food in the city. It's always flavorful. I never have any problems with the food or the service. Did I mention how beautiful it is? We have been regulars at Sotto Sopra for many years, primarily because it is simply the very best Italian restaurant in the area. Food is excellent, great wine selection, and can’t beat the ambience. The best restaurant week menu year after year while maintaining quality and portion sizes. Great spot for any occasion that won’t disappoint and truly the best Italian outside of Little Italy.
