Sotto Sotto - Reservar una mesa

We were a large group with a reservation made for 14 people. They had the policy to only sit parties when the the entire party shows up. We had from 7 to 12 people there, but they still did not give us the table, which was pretty annoying. Having all these people wondering around the bar and restaurant. The staff were not friendly and cooperative. When we finally got the table, it was too small for our party size and people could not move their arms without constantly bumping into each other. I asked for a larger, standard table size for our party, but they did not cooperate! So disappointing to get such poor treatment especially for such large party. We love coming to sotto sotto every time we have an excuse. My wife and I went big and got the burrata, risotto, veal parm, and tortelli and each was completely awesome. We sat inside because it was a hot night and even though the patio is always a lot of fun, it was nice and quiet inside. Can’t wait to go back! They also valet for free.

A real gem in a lovely neighborhood. Food was excellent, service was awesome. I had an excellent beef carpaccio followed by a no-less excellent ravioli with meat filling, sage and butter (very different name on the menu) and a little piece of heaven in my mouth: their chocolate strataciella gelato. Divine!!!

Wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. Valet parking. On some nights, street parking is plentiful. Service was excellent. Food was good but not excellent. Ceasar is bland, bread is meh. Pastas entrees were good. Chocolate soup is not to be missed.

Loved the outdoor patio! The atmosphere was amazing. Service was friendly. Ravioli was good but I prefer a sauce on top instead of just oil. Sweet ragu pasta was the best! Also, the beef carpaccio was delightful. I will definitely be back!

A transcendent experience!!! The wine, caprese, and pasta dishes were delicious! The chocolate soup was heavenly! And our waiter, Carlos, was excellent! Highly recommend this beautiful neighborhood restaurant!!!

Excellent food on a very charming covered terrace. Scallops were 10/10.
