Having been to Sougtani for lunch, we thought we'd try it for an evening meal with friends who were staying for the weekend. On a very cold, snowy evening we arrived to a really warm welcome. The restaurant was full so a great atmosphere and despite not that many staff waiting on we had fantastic, attentive service. The food was delicious, we had a selection of tasty starters to share which included a yummy beetroot houmous, falafels, spicy potatoes tabouleh followed by a main course each. We probably weren't very adventurous with our main course choice....marinated charcoal grilled chicken/lamb chips basically, so an excuse to go back to try something different! hidden shade this is one of the best foundations in a long time that is also very local. if they love food, variety and quality with exceptional service in an environment and ambiente of the near east, then this is the place to benefit from a server of value ratio. it is wonderful for all occasions and a joy at each visit. they get a feeling, with fresh tee and baklava served at the end of their meal and hot hand towels. I couldn't ask. Top tip is always known as very popular venue for quality and service with amazing dedicated team lead from tariq in the kitchen and anna in front of the house.
The staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful. They recommended the three-course meal deal for £19.95, which was an excellent value considering the generous portions we were served.
The ambiance of the restaurant is tasteful, featuring an impressive and unique mural that spans the entire length of one wall—it is simply stunning. At the end of the evening, the owner and chef came out to speak with us, taking the time to share how he and his wife created their dream restaurant.
Overall, this place truly deserves an award. I will definitely be returning soon, and I wish them all the best!
I absolutely love this place! Since it opened, I've been coming almost every other week with different friends, all of whom have enjoyed it as well. The food is fresh and beautifully prepared, and the owner is truly charming. The ambiance is lovely, and the BYO alcohol policy provides excellent value for money. I can't recommend it enough. This restaurant has been busy since opening, which I believe speaks volumes about its quality!

1st time at Sougtani fabulous food. Tried Lebanese wine so very good. Our marvellous neighbour's recommended we try and I can say I'll be returning very soon. Lunchbox menu so delicious and the Beetroot Houmous just so memorable.
Excellent food and lovely service! Highly recommend. Falafels and hummus were delicious. When we go back I think we will order everything together and share all the dishes.
Amazing authentic food , friendly staff. And a very family friendly restaurant. Would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Looking forward to our next visit.
