What a friendly neighborhood cafe! Soul de Cuba did not disappoint. The staff were all so cheerful and friendly from the moment we stepped inside the restaurant. The waxy red tablecloths and Cuban music videos playing on the screen in the back made the atmosphere more laidback, and it also set this place apart from all the run-of-the-mill, cutesy type breakfast places around Kelowna. The shredded beef eggs benny was incredible! Maybe not the best I've ever had, but definitely up there. The beef had so much flavor jam packed into it, and you could tell it had been slow cooked with love. I felt that the hollandaise sauce was nothing to write home about; I would've liked to see it a bit creamie...

The ropa vieja is authentic and comes highly recommended. The congri was decent, but just decent for me, as I'm accustomed to having my protein served over white rice and black beans. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a Cuban restaurant here in Kelowna. The interior is bright and inviting, and the service was excellent. While I understand that sourcing ingredients can be challenging, having platanos maduros or beverages like Malta or Materva would have added to the authenticity of the experience.

I had a wonderful time at Soul de Cuba Cafe in Kelowna, BC, last night. The food was fantastic, and the staff—including the waitresses, the chef, and the owner—were all exceptionally friendly and enjoyable to be around. On top of that, there was a live Cuban band performing straight from Cuba. We sang, danced, laughed, and had an incredible evening. I even made some new friends! It was truly a memorable experience. I can't wait to return to Kelowna, BC, and visit Soul de Cuba Cafe again.

I had a strong craving for a Cubano, and this restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. The Cuban sandwich was absolutely outstanding—one of the best I've ever tasted. The ropa vieja was also delicious, and the tostones made for a perfect appetizer. I genuinely believe you can't go wrong at this place. The atmosphere is clean and bright, and the staff is warm and friendly. Don’t hesitate to visit this hidden gem! And yes, they are open during the construction!

Thank you, Cesar!!! My birthday party was fantastic, and everyone had a great time. The food was incredible; the vegetarian lasagna was absolutely out of this world. Everyone enjoyed dancing for hours, and we were very pleased with the service. The drinks, especially the Micheladas and Mojitos, are the best in Kelowna. Thank you for making my day so special. This is the best spot for birthday parties!!!

I can't wait to return and enjoy some delicious, healthy food! The wine, produced in the Okanagan, is simply the best. This is one of the top spots to celebrate any special occasion. The service is excellent, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is wonderful!

Amazing food, excellent service 5 stars all around! Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic, flavorful Cuban cuisine! The ropa vieja is amazing, tostones are delicious and the flan is the cherry on top SO good! Can't wait to come back!!

The Cuban Bennies are the best bennies we ever had. Savoury, beef in a sauce that you want to mop every inch with the crispy pillowy hash browns that come with. Great friendly service. We'll be back!

This charming little restaurant serves excellent Cuban cuisine. The Ropa Vieja is exceptional, and the service is both quick and friendly. I highly recommend giving this place a visit!

Delicious eggs Benny!! Mojitos we're the best we have had nice and refreshing. Great service and a cool atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
