Arrived at Souters Kirkoswald for a 'chance ' (unbooked) supper. It 's been a while since I last ate there. I chose lovely homemade soup, followed by excellent lambs liver, with a glass of milk to drink. Ten out of ten, great, many thanks, all staffs I found helpful. The homemade soup was chunky, very much to my liking. The liver was very slightly salty (perhaps the chef used sea salt), but this didn 't in any way at all spoil my enjoyment. Tremendous hostelry type atmosphere, only adding to my overall enjoyment. In short, a very good dining experience all things considered, including costs. The waitress Sophie was a credit to the establishment. Thanks Tom
