Southbank Beer Garden

Went for a lunch with my family for a birthday. All food was ordered at the around the same time maximum 2 minutes between each other. All food came out promptly, well cooked. Possibly over cooked. We waited 10 minutes after the second last meal for the last meal to be delivered to the table. Average flavour, lots of oil (Food was the best part of the visit). The staff working at the time were very loud and talking amongst themselves but so the whole venue could hear them. Not one person asked how our meals were! Staff then sat at the table beside us ate their lunch I'm assuming and proceeded to loudly and obnoxiously talk amongst each other with no consideration for the patrons currently in...

Very busy and we didn’t have a booking. We were told it was 40-50 minute wait for meals but we decided that was fine with us. Ordered an entree which came quite quickly considering how busy it was. Drinks were good, food was delicious, and when our mains came we weren’t disappointed. We both ordered eye fillet with different ways of cooking and both were perfect! Very surprising as isn’t usually the case. Loud but a great atmosphere and it didn’t bother us. Would definitely go back.

Great little bar looking put over Southbank beach area. Went here with friends after an event at the convention centre. Was the first time we had been here and we had a delightful time. Even though they were busy the lady found an area for us. The food was really fresh and reasonably priced for how yummy it is. The live music added an extra element for some fun sing-along classics whilst still being able to have a conversation amongst friends. Will be returning. Highly recommend.

I always enjoy visiting this restaurant whenever I am at Southbank. The bartenders and wait staff are consistently cheerful and welcoming. The food and drinks are consistently superb. The main reason we keep coming back is for the atmosphere and relaxing ambiance that makes us feel like we are on vacation, rather than in the hustle and bustle of the city. Great location, nice menu including gluten free options. Lovely wine list. Great place to wind down for a couple of hours. I had the Harrisa prawns, which were lovely but very spicey. I think I'd have a different dish next time or if having the prawns, order either an aioli or sour cream on the side to soothe the burn

Stopped in for a beer. The bar is set up high which offers nice views over the river and there was another level higher which would provide even better views over the river and surrounding areas. Good spot for a drink on a hot day.

The cocktails were delicious and the atmosphere and location were great. I am only giving it 4 stars because they did not have mojitos and some of the waiters seemed a bit disinterested, but other than that, everything was good.

We headed to the Southbank Beer Garden for a beer on a sunny Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the experience.We didn't eat here so can't make a comment on that.It is a pity there is work going on at the pool as it spoilt the view. Reserva una mesa ahora

The staff at this restaurant were delightful, warm, and easy to talk to. The setting and ambiance were wonderful. The dishes were absolutely fantastic, prepared flawlessly.

Great location with live music. The staff are friendly, unfortunately I ordered the chicken schnitzel which was awful otherwise good place.
