Southern Comforts, Southern Dining Seafood Shack

We ate dinner here tonight and were absolutely amazed! We had Angela as our server and she was fantastic!!! She was attentive and so sweet. My husband and kids loved their food. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and it wasn't like what I was used to. Angela made sure I got something in its place so I wouldn't go home hungry, even after I told her that wasn't necessary. The ultimate grilled cheese was amazing. If you're looking for a great place with amazing people and huge portions for decent prices, check them out!!!

My friends from the Charlotte area attended a Night of a Thousand Candles last night, and afterward, I was eager to try this charming little restaurant: Southern Comfort Restaurant Bakery. The food was absolutely delightful, and the portion sizes were impressive. Our server was fantastic. If you have a chance, take your time to enjoy a lovely breakfast brunch or a delicious dinner—both the prices and the quality of the service and food are outstanding.

I visited this restaurant twice, both times for dinner. On my first visit, I had the pot roast, which was fantastic! During my second visit, I ordered a steak, and it was excellent as well! The mac and cheese is absolutely delicious! My daughter, who can be picky about mac and cheese, tried it and absolutely loved it! The portion sizes are generous, making it a great value for your money!

Southern Comforts handled my cupcakes for my wedding this past month and they 100% stole the show. Everyone wanted to know where the cupcakes came from! Greg was an absolute delight every time spoke and was even kind enough to let me borrow his cupcake tower for the event (which I am returning tomorrow! . The food here is incredibly fresh. The owner embodies the classic gentleman vibe. The drinks are strong, and the seafood comes straight from the port. If you're in the area, you absolutely have to dine here. I tried the Ahi Tuna, shrimp, and grottos, along with a delicious cocktail. Next time, I’ll be having the buttermilk roasted chicken.

This has become one of my places with my 97-year-old mother. They're very nice to her. It is also a place where I take when I need a buttermile roasted chicken salad.... it's the best I ever had. The service is excellent, the boss/owner always comes round to make sure everything is okay. Very recommended.

We love Southern Comforts it's a must whenever we're in town. I love the grouper sandwich and pimento grilled cheese. I highly recommend shrimp and grits and my husband loves the ahi tuna. We've never had a bad meal. The service is impeccable and everyone is so friendly.

FINALLY!!! The best wings! Very crispy, great flavor! Service was timely and friendly, all the food was spot on. So glad we gave it a try. No room for desserts but they all looked incredible.

Friendly staff and excellent food. This is the 2nd year we have dined here. The diverse menu has lots of fresh seafood as well as southern comfort food.
