Southern Prime Steakhouse

Highly recommend this steakhouse! We were in town for a work conference and it happened to fall on our anniversary week. A local told us to try this place, so we did. We made a reservation through Open Table. When we arrived, the hostess knew it was our anniversary and mentioned it upon arrival which I thought was thoughtful. Then our table had heart confetti sprinkled on top. All the staff said hello and was very friendly and kind. My husband and I both ordered steaks, which were amazing! I had to order a side of lobster Mac n cheese, and it didn't disappoint! The restaurant surprised us with a free lava cake for desert AND took our picture and printed it as a souvenir! My husband and I were in the area visiting friends as we do often and decided to dine here. Didn't have a reservation but the host was so accommodating and made sure we got a great table. The food was superb. If you visit here, you must try the rangoons! The only issue we had was with our service. I don't remember our servers name (I think it was Courtney? but she had dark hair. Instead of feeling like guests, we felt like burdens. She was quick to walk away before we could finish talking and not very friendly. We never even got a chance to ask for sauces. It started to put a damper on our evening out, but we decided to overlook it and enjoy our food. Maybe it was because they were busy, but...

We reserved a table here for my boyfriend's birthday. Overall we had an excellent experience. The 3 hostesses at the door were kind and welcoming and sat us right away. Our server- Andy was awesome and had perfect timing and anticipated our needs. We both had the house martini with blue cheese olives.. fantastic martini. Food wise I was overall good.. we had the ahi tuna to start.. my boyfriend was a fan. I had the filet mignon which was SO tasty and my boyfriend had the NY strip which he also praised. Delicious! This steak house is phenomenal! I went for my birthday celebration. I'm so happy my companion picked the place. So so good! The bread and butter was a great start. The butter was a standout. My dining companion wanted to take some home. Unfortunately. I didn't like any of the wine I tasted. So I ordered an apple cider martini. It was one of the drinks on special. It was very good. So glad I chose that drink. I ordered a wedge salad. It was also delicious. I ordered a ribeye and had two sides. Stopped for cocktails and decided have a few appetizers. The bar is very nice with good seating and warm ambiance. The bartender Kelly, was friendly and efficient. The drinks were good. We ordered a few snacks which were ok. The artisanal cheese board was good, artisanal may be an exaggeration. But a nice variety of cheese and meats. The lobster Mac and cheese was like soup.The bartender noticed after it sat and did offer to get something else. Which we declined. Anyway great place for drinks and next time we will try some of the good items they had on the menu.

Beautiful chic decor. Date night is what I would call it. The staff are very well trained. My hot loaf bread and warm sweet butter arrived within a minute of being seated. I ordered a beer and it just wasn't as cold as I preferred so I changed my mind and asked for a chilled glass which made the beer the right temperature for me. I ordered the 8 oz steak with baked potato wand broccolini. The steak was seasoned well and cooked perfectly medium. I appreciated that the steak was a thick cut!

Had an amazing dinner last night (Saturday). Place was packed and pretty rowdy with golf groups, proms, etc. Our server was actually Greg, the GM who was great. Staffing issues everywhere are seen here as well. But seeing Greg step in and be a part of the solution was a good thing to see leadership in action. Our meals were all spot on and the wines were superb. I would recommend Southern Prime and will return on our next visit to the area.

Celebrated our anniversary here and it was everything we expected. The table had cute heart decorations on it for our dinner. The filet mignon was delicious along with the rest of the meal. The staff were very friendly and took a cute picture of us at the end of our meal. Will be back for sure and have recommend to others. Reserva una mesa ahora

Wonderful place to go for a celebratory dinner or occasion. From the moment you walk in the door the staff is always so welcoming willing to go above and beyond to accommodate your needs, whatever they may be. Greg is the best and always makes sure that your experience is everything it should be.

Had a birthday dinner there. Steak cooked wrong. By the time it was corrected, the reast of the table was done eating. Not what I'd expect from an expensive steak house. I'd rather eat at elliotts or 195 for my next birthday meal
