This local Mom Pop establishment is well worth checking out for brunch, lunch or dinner while in the vicinity of Old Town Alexandria. This convenient, nicely appointed, and homey place serves up some fabulous goodies. We met up with some old friends here to brunch/munch recently, and I must say, having tried everything we ordered at the table, nothing was anywhere short of good or great. This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we chose it on a whim. It turned out to be a fantastic choice. We found a parking spot right outside, which is quite rare in Virginia, as someone had just left. The service was excellent; we were greeted and seated right away. Our waiter was fantastic—very attentive to our needs, refilling our glasses and bringing extra napkins and condiments without us even having to ask. He had a friendly smile and a warm personality that made us feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious! The ambience was cozy. We had breakfast during our visit...ordered Belgium waffles, cheese eggs and bacon. unfortunately, if you do not mention that you want it as a side, it will come in the form of bacon bits on top of your eggs. Otherwise the eggs were fine. My disappointment came down to the waffle. It was very dry/overcook and no flavor. We advised the waiter and asked for a pancake which tasted just like the waffle. Service was fine until they realize we were not happy about the waffle. At this point, they were ready for us to pay leave
Good food. Very tasty and the portions were perfect. Not too small but not huge. Service was good too. The overall atmosphere is cozy with lots of locals (from what it seems). The spot is divided in 2, one side the bar (looks like a dive bar) the other side sit down restaurant. Just got the feeling that it wasn't clean enough. I would def go back though.

Excellent service and exactly what a bar should be. There’s no need to "prove" you're 21 or show ID to open a tab. You’re treated like an adult, with cold beers and delicious bar food on offer. It's definitely a great place to hang out! I would highly recommend becoming a regular, but you’ll feel welcomed like one right from your first visit.
I had high expectations for this restaurant. The service was acceptable, but it didn't stand out, especially for New Year's Eve. I ordered the Charleston Chicken, but when it arrived, it looked quite unappetizing. I ended up swapping it for their delicious Jambalaya chicken cheesesteak, which was much better.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and good food! The Cajun chicken breasts were great. I wasn't expecting much when I walked in. I was wrong. For lovers of #bellsbrewery, they have Oberon and Two Hearted on tap!
The burger made me want to weep and leap with tears of joy and songs of celebration and victory.
