Definitely the worst Indian I've ever eaten. Possibly the worst meal I have had. When reviewing you take into account not just the food food but atmosphere and service . The atmosphere was non existent and the service and welcome were hard to find either. The meal left all expectations unsurpassed. Of the four of us none enjoyed their meal, one was left untouched, mine barely eaten and our two friends commented on the blandness of the food. Strangely (or not so strangely) our waiter when collecting the plates- two of which were fairly full did not enquire how we had enjoyed the meal- perhaps he had an inkling! He had enquired around five minutes into the meal as to how it was but it is hard...
This Indian restaurant served the worst food I have ever eaten. It was bland and lacked any spice or flavor. Our dining experience was extremely disappointing. The restaurant had no atmosphere, as it was cold and quiet, and the staff seemed uninterested. We were not offered any drinks when we sat down, and despite calling ahead to make a reservation, we were not informed that they do not serve drinks. I requested a jug of water, which was room temperature. Despite ordering different starters and mains, all the food tasted the same and was flavorless. After finishing our meal, the waiter did not return to our table, so we had to get up to pay on our way out, only to discover that they accepte...
To clarify this was a Takeaway. DO NOT EAT FOOD FROM HERE. It 's disgusting. Garlic naan tastes like normal naan. Doughy too= had to cook it myself. Garlic rice= tastes like **** rice. Watery and zero flavour. The Chicken Korma?!!! It was like eating a dessert so sweet, awful texture. Onion Bhajis are just flour and onions they don 't taste of anything Chicken Biryani? Just nothing. Tastes of nothing. Garlic mushrooms? Watery mushrooms with no garlic. Mint yogurt. The worst SO SWEET Mango chutney? Better off buying your own jar. Spice cottage ? SPICE? There was NO flavour at all to anything!! I rarely leave bad reviews. But there was not ONE redeeming dish. Seriously spent over £35.00 pound...
After moving to Worcester 4 years ago, I have struggled finding a single curry house that serves high quality, flavoursome curries. This delightful place has officially restored my faith in Indian cuisine in Worcestershire! For the first time in 4 years, I was served a REAL curry! Full of flavour, and it's obvious the chef's care about their food! Do not fret about bland, watery curries, this is the real deal! I had a lovely hot curry that was had real flavour, not just chilli's thrown into a sauce. I cannot recommend this place enough! Fantastic food and great value for money, accompanied by great service. Please give this place a try, they deserve to be recognised, and you WON'T regret it!

We decided to try the banquet deal on Wednesday, which includes poppadoms and chutney, a starter, a main dish, and a choice of naan or rice for £10.95. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We were allowed to bring our own alcohol, and parking was convenient. The flavors of the food were excellent. I ordered the Goa garlic chicken, which was sizzling and full of flavor, as well as the chicken chat puri. My husband enjoyed the lamb biryani and samosas. Overall, we were both pleased and satisfied with our meal.
I brought a takeaway from spice cottage and they were so lovely, I 100% recommend this place especially if you want some actual spice in your food, my partner and I both had two different lamb dishes and they were perfect, spice cottage also ran out of their kulfi but that was totally fine by us as they told us within a couple minutes of ordering and gave us a refund and extra poppadoms and sauces, I've had a great night thanks to them :D
I continue to be impressed with the food from Spice Cottage. With lots of options in Malvern for Indian food, they are right up there with the best. 20% off on collection makes it good value. The chicken tikka naga masala has good heat and flavour. My wife also enjoys their saag paneer. We have enjoyed our weekly takeaway from Spice Cottage during this lockdown and recommend them.
After using the spice cottage for some years we both felt the menu was getting a bit tired. However had a takeaway tonight delivered quickly really nice fresh starter and a really tasty chicken Madras as a main. Fantastic value and delivery to colwall(3miles) free of charge. Will definitely be using the place again especially with the new menu.

We visited the restaurant on Friday night with a group of 10 people. It was very quiet, with only us there. The service was a bit slow at first, but after we asked them to take our order, it improved. The food was good and the portions were a good size. However, it was a bit cold inside as there was no heating on.
Food was amazing Would definitely recommend the chicken tikka pathia rich of flavour and very well priced
