We ordered takeout and it was the worst curry we have ever had. The curry was watery, lacked flavor and substance. The restaurant refused to take responsibility for the poor quality and blamed the chef, delivery company, and even the weather. They insisted we could only get a refund if we returned the curries in person. When we arrived, we were greeted by a rude individual who claimed the curry was not from their restaurant and accused us of adding water ourselves. They also refused to acknowledge their mistake, stating that they do not offer delivery service. It was clear they did not want to take responsibility for their terrible food. I would highly recommend avoiding this place.
I am shocked by the rudeness of this restaurant when it came to making a reservation. My family of 6, including my well-behaved 7-year-old daughter, tried to book a table for 4. Despite having availability at 7:30pm, the restaurant refused to accommodate us because of our child. This policy was not in place during our previous visit, where everything went smoothly and there were no issues with our daughter. I am extremely disappointed and shocked by this treatment, as I have never encountered such discrimination before. There is no excuse for this behavior, and we will not be returning to this restaurant again.
Three members of the CCC committee came to this little favourite for the end of the year catch up meeting. We had been here in June as a full club, and again the menu was attractive, with a couple of dishes peculiar to this restaurant. The service was efficient (we were here on a Monday, and the place was quiet, but it’s this good anyway) and the food was tasty. If you’re in the area, give this venue a try…
