Spillway Sportsman has been serving the west side for as long as I can remember. They have always been well stocked with Guns, Ammo, Fishing Gear or anything else a sportsman could ask for! I'm always greeted warmly by the sales staff. Very easy to get to on your way to your favorite fishing or hunting spots south of I-10... They've always carried quality products and plenty of it!! Worth your while to stop and browse or stop and buy!! OH, they have breakfast and sandwiches.... .Want to load your ice chest, they have cold drinks and beer. Great stop!!
This review deserves five stars for the exceptional service in the weapons department. Tj went above and beyond to help my wife find the perfect frame that suited her needs. Even though I was running late, there was no pressure—just a friendly and constructive conversation. I could have easily purchased the same size online for a lower price, but after experiencing Tj's outstanding customer service, I couldn't bring myself to do it. Highly recommended!
Gas prices are high here as there 's a Texaco station attached as well. Staff was very polite and chatty. Coffee was fresh and hot. I haven 't really shopped the whole store before as I 'm not a big outdoor girl so the stuff really doesn 't interest me. But, they DO have some cool gadgets when you first walk in... Check out out one day. ?
Trent has equipped my 13-year-old son with everything he needed to start the hunt. When I say everything, I mean spending time with him, getting the right equipment, sizing him right and educating him on correct techniques. I was very impressed by the time he spent with my son. Well stocked with everything I was looking for, even when everyone else didn't have it. No complaints about that. Now the customer service, cashier up front was rude as hell, made me feel like I wasn't welcome. Must've been that time of month for her. Besides her, it's a really nice, clean, well stocked store. Check it out.
I would not recommend purchasing a weapon from this store. The atmosphere makes you feel unwelcome during the buying process, and the staff seems to lack proper training. It's worth driving an additional 15 minutes to Jim's, where you'll find a larger selection of weapons and a much friendlier staff.
Very knowledgeable staff friendly folks who are there to serve you highly recommended. So if you head to the spillway or to the coast this is the place to stop at to get your supplies so if you?re into the great outdoors this is a great place to get your groceries beer sodas and ammo.
