One of the best meals I've had in a long time. We jumped on the waitlist for a busy Saturday afternoon and were soon seated. Constance was our waitress, and her wonderful personality and positive energy made us feel like we were friends having dinner at her home. We started with the sangria, which she told us is made with peach purée—absolutely delicious! For our meal, we had the Mediterranean salad with shrimp, which was fantastic. This was my first visit to Spotted Horse Tavern, and I have no complaints. We sat at the bar, and the bartender promptly took our orders. The food arrived after a reasonable wait and was nicely presented. I had the Braised Short Ribs over cauliflower mash and really enjoyed it. The dish wasn’t too heavy, though I would have liked a bit more vegetables. The flavor was perfect. The only downside was that my friends who ordered double cocktails felt they lacked enough alcohol. Besides that, we had a great experience, and the food was delicious. I would definitely return without hesitation.
I am so disappointed with the service and the managers response. I came in to order a takeout meal right when they opened and patiently waited for them to bring my food out. It took well over an hour, and then I learned that the hostess didn’t actually put the order in there was no apology and they were so rude when I asked if they would comp something because I’ve wasted most of my morning waiting for food. Manager told me I have my food now and I can go no apology no offering to make it up. It’s just upsetting given the prices and reputation of this place.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and tasty food. Prices are reasonable except for the lobster roll. Overall, delicious meals and highly recommended.
Excellent food with a diverse menu featuring burgers, pasta, seafood, and other main dishes. The service is efficient as well. I highly recommend it!

The bartender was extremely sarcastic and abrupt. When I requested a dirty martini, they cut me off before I could even finish saying the word.
