This is review on the restaurant itself and not on the food. I have been to spuntinos many times and really enjoyed the food. I decided to bring my friend there last night, her first time there. She has a pretty severe shrimp allergy and as we askedquestions about the menu our waiter had to ask about every item to find out if It was safe. A shellfish allergy is pretty commonand I was surprised that the staff was not more educated on how the items may be cooked. Spuntino's in St James offers a wonderful sit-down dining experience, but my last visit was just for Pizza. The large pies, and the Grandma's pies, are great and worth the trip. The Pizettes made in the wood fired oven are in a class by themselves. Ipicked up the Little Neo and it was outstanding. I asked for the garlic knots extra crispy and they were done of the best knotsI've ever had.
They gave me a very hard time with my service dog- constant stares and asked for papers several times. Would not let us sit inside Then they gave my family and i difficulties when we wanted to merge tables so we can sit together Food was not that greatfor us to have stayed after stressful accommodation . I visited Sputinos for the first time and picked up some lasagna, which was absolutely delicious—definitely the best I've had so far. They really didn’t skimp on the protein either. I haven't tried the other restaurants nearby yet, but I plan to check them out. For now, Sputinos is clearly my favorite. Food: 5 Service: 5

Fiorentina and Alla Vodka are great and worth the price! The portions are really big, we ended up taking the majority of our meals home. Not a huge fan of the calamari, the pieces were a little big and not as crispy as we were expecting. Worth comingback to :
The food was really good and I would eat from there again. But to go and sit there to eat maybe not so much. When we got there the waitress was a tad rude. We kept being kind saying please and thank you and shortly after she change her attitudethankfully.

My mother and I always order the Chicken fiorentina and it is one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Top tier Italian and very reasonably priced. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
