What a little gem this place is. When you walk in, you get why it's a tavern bar right up front, with some seating opposite. Then you pass the bar and walk down into the dining room to a full blown Italian restaurant. A robust menu. Multiple dishes featuring scungilli. Two different types of cheesecake. Every waitress looks and sounds like your Nonna. Pretty sure I sat in a booth that came over on the Mayflower. This place is an EXPERIENCE. And the food is delicious. House salad dressing is a little heavy on the red wine vinegar (which makes me think immediately of my own grandma's salads and the bread is crusty and airy. Me and my family have been coming here for years. The pizza is exceptional and that’s saying a lot for an area filled with many notable options. Some of my other favorites are the Stuffed rigatoni w/ chicken, tortellini Alfredo, chicken parm and of course the homemade meatballs. At the bar, the drink selection doesn’t get enough credit. Great beers on tap and always offering local options. An all around great family restaurant and I hope to be returning for many years to come. Parking: Big parking lot around back but usually a decent amount of parking on the street if lot is filled.
The food is fantastic and very good but bad customer care. We order a pizza and when we it at home its a wring pizza and its very frustrating. When I called the restaurant they sounded rude and just don’t. the next thing they just hang up the phone. They have no accountability for the mistake not even a sorry.
Classic New Jersey tavern. The food was outstanding, and we were happy to find a spot on the patio for our two small dogs. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. Although it was quite busy, we were seated at a table outside within just 5 minutes. I would definitely return.

I had dinner this evening, with a dear friend. We enjoyed out door dining with delicious food. The service was great with a wonderful atmosphere.
The restaurant has declined in quality. The food no longer tastes the same. We found canned mushrooms in our dish, and overall, it lacked flavor.
We had a pizza. It was delicious. We sat at the bar. The bartender was not very attentive there was only 4 other people at the bar.
Food was good, but the beef barley soup was missing most of the barley and tiny pieces of beef in the can base soup.

Our waitress Kristen was an absolute pleasure, she was friendly and professional and the food was fantastic!!
The food here is fantastic. I've visited several times, and each experience has been delightful.
