As part of a table of 20 we were contacted to come early due to them being busy. A bit inconvenient but we complied. Finding squires loft in a basement should have been an omen. Sitting down we were firstly informed by the manager that we were not to leave our seats as they needed to be sure of where we were sitting to give us our meals I and my partner ordered a corona followed by a second to then be informed could we order peroni as they only had one slab of corona. End of project lunch for 15 was well received. Wait staff knew the menu, knew the drinks. Even those that they hadn't had themselves they had spoken to the reps and could make recommendations.Food was delivered in unison which meant no-one was waiting and the steaks were all cooked as ordered. Some of these were monsters so the chef/s knew their stuff when getting the tenderness right. I had pork spare ribs and immediately regretted only getting 2 (it was lunch after all so I reasoned with myself). Delicious. Cooked well, nicely sat. Had a lovely dinner here as we have every other time we've visited. This time we had our little one with us and staff were very accommodating to seat us somewhere comfortable with a bit of room for the pram. Staff were very friendly & attentive. Drink orders were taken as we were seated then brought to the table right away. Dinner was absolutely delicious and served very promptly. Such a lovely local evening out with great food! Only wish prosecco was on the menu!

The cellar atmosphere is great although the lights were a little bright and the big steel staircase entry is a bit of a contrast. Great menu selections and our food was really good. Steaks done to perfection. However the service let the experience down because we were left waiting a bit too long, especially for the wine. And the waiters were a bit too casual. Lovely ambience within the bluestone cellar. Great steak, I had the eye fillet, superb flavour and perfectly cooked. Very attentive service, additional vegetables and onions, the onions were really good. We will be back again. The only problem is the double sitting

We love squires loft williamstown. We have been regulars once we discovered this place. Its always busy and the staff is always friendly. We love the steaks they're always cooked to our requirements and the location and blue stone building is something different.

very ordinary had a better steak at the sporting globe got charged extra for salad and sauce pot of beer 8 bucks burnt food served on our tables line of people at the counter complaining and returning food this place will not last

Lovely dinner tonight last one in Melbourne for awhile I had the ribs nice and tender hubby had the porterhouse cooked nice and rare the flavor was of grain feed beef service was excellent but the did forget the entre ???? Reserva una mesa ahora

Had a great dinner with colleagues and business partners. All ate steak and had a beer. Ambiente was fine and the food were quite good but unfortunately in the past I had some better steaks.

Very nice beef ribs, potato and asparagus. Service was friendly and attentive. The meal size was a little large, so sadly no room for dessert
