This has to be one of my favourite restaurants in the Freiburg region.The food is Blackforest Tapas, (Schwarzwald Tapas) so being tapas, naturally you'll receive tapas sized plates, so absolutely no problem there, the clue is in the name. El primer domingo soleado en Friburgo y decidimos ir a pasear con mi esposo y nuestro bebé de meses. Fuimos a St Barbara porque siempre hacemos St Valentin y St Ottilien, así que para variar ... ¿por qué no? El lugar tiene una vista muy ... agradable, estaba lleno, por lo que fue una sorpresa ver a tipos kust sirviendo mesas. the first sunny Sunday in Freiburg and we decided to hike with my man and our months-long baby. we went to st. barbara, because we always make st. valentin and st. ottilien, so a change. the place has a very. nice vew, it was full, so it was a surprise to see cuddly youngs waiting tables. no chance to sit outside, so let's sit where almost nobody sat. we waited an hour and didn't even look at each other. never get a menu, and when we asked the waiting time to come to us. on a very beautiful wise. Si vienes a pie desde la ciudad es un paseo algo largo y empinado, pero merece la pena. El lugar es realmente agradable y tiene una hermosa vista del valle a continuación. This place offers stunning views of the Frieburg valley. The walks around the restaurant make it a convenient destination for hikers.The food is imaginative and the cauliflower in sesame batter a revelation.\However it is tapas style which unfortunately means having very small portions hoping that you will buy a number of them to make a meal. A guess that you will need about 3-4 to satisfy a walk induced hunger and that this may make you start judging value for money.
Definitivamente uno de mis restaurantes favoritos en Friburgo que descubrí por casualidad en un viaje en bicicleta de montaña por el cercano Sternwald. El restaurante sin duda se veía genial para nosotros, ya que habíamos caminado horas para llegar allí. Sin embargo, la comida era bastante buena y la vista del valle es increíble. A pesar de estar cerca de Friburgo, el lugar es muy tranquilo como si no hubiera ... nadie alrededor. Aunque hay una puerta que evita que los autos se acerquen demasiado, creo que se puede abrir si es necesario para permitir el acceso a todos.

Definitly one of my favorite restaurants in Freiburg which I "acidentally" discovered on a Mountainbike trip through the nearby Sternwald. Not amazing but good enough. The location is amazing, the food is OK and the beer is really nice. It's worth the trip if you're around Freiburg.
