I've never written a review before, but I felt compelled to share my experience. For years, my friends and I have frequented this place and were treated as regulars. We've always engaged in friendly conversation and tipped the bartenders generously. On this particular night, we chose some music from their service. Around midnight, we were approached by a bartender who was making a scene and yelling at us about our music. She claimed that our paid selection had caused all the customers to leave (this was right after a football game had ended). I've never left a review in my life, but I couldn't let it go. I and my friends have been coming to this place for years and have been regularly welcomed. We've always made a friendly conversation, and the bartenders are good. (I was a bartender at one point. This special night we did our thing and choose some music from the service they offer. At about 12 o'clock we are addressed by the bartender. She made a scene and called us for our music. She claimed that our music for which we paid left all their customers (that was at the end of a football match. Owner only cares about some guy that isn?t there mentally. We had multiple issues with him, but instead her calling Oaklawn police who have nothing better than just wait for a call from st James Owner and tell her story which isn?t real!! They put thewindow up on my husband so she could tell her story about the guy who she already knew was issue and she assured us if we wereto get in a argument with him we would get booked by oaklawn police. FYI they don?t have security so you could walk in withweapons. Place is so unsafe!! Save your time and go to deja brew or the whistle down and he block!!!

The owner only cares about a guy who's not mental. We had several problems with him, but their calling Oaklawn police, who wait nothing better than just for a call from st James Owner and tell their story, which is not real!! They put the window on my husband so that she could tell her story about the guy she already knew was a problem and she assured us if we were to come into an argument with him, we would be booked by the Eichenlawn police. I informed a group of paying, easy-going customers that the music they were enjoying was responsible for other customers leaving, instead of acknowledging that it might be due to the game ending. This was not only incredibly rude but also highly unprofessional.
