Restaurant Review No. 4 for 2024: I visited the sister bakery of St Peters Bakehouse Coffee Shop to try their curry pie for $6. Once again, I was impressed by the size and price of the pie! The pastry was nicely cooked, although the top was better than the underside, which could have used a little more attention. It wasn't dry and had a reasonable flakiness. The minced meat was tender and not overly fatty, with a pleasant curry flavor that packed a nice punch. Personally, I would have liked just a bit more spice, but that's just my preference. The pie's serving temperature was a touch too hot, but overall, it was a pretty good curry pie. If you're interested in more meat pie reviews, feel fr...

I just arrived in Adelaide and headed to my hotel, but it was too early to check in. I drove around aimlessly looking for a coffee, took a few wrong turns, and unexpectedly found this gem of a place. Diana's service was amazing—she was friendly, funny, and had a bit of a cheeky side too. The chunky beef and potato pie was possibly the best pie I've ever had; it definitely ranks among the best I've tasted. I can't help but eye the ‘small’ donuts, Kitchener buns, and vanilla slices—I'm definitely headed towards a sugar coma! We'll definitely be back. Make sure to tell Diana I sent you!

This bakery I have visited a number of times. Parking on West Thebarton Rd is almost non existing. If you find a park go in. Amazing array of fresh baked cakes and hot food ..the staff are always super friendly...and make amazing sandwiches....again don't drive past go in... you will be glad you have stopped to go in. Very reasonable pricing with service excellence. Cosi Cavbiz Director.

I didn't even know this place existed. excited and hungry I entered, notice 2 people sitting and eating at tables inside and 3 people serving behind theke. good there for a good time. not a piece of detection, no “we will be with them in a second”, no eye contact. nothing bad really does. I'm sure you're eating well, but like in every business. service is the key.

The food is excellent and shows a lot of promise, but the restaurant is significantly understaffed during the mornings, resulting in long lines for bacon and egg rolls.

It showcases one of my favorite Cornish monasteries. The pastry is flaky and baked to perfection, with an ideal filling. It's a flawless rendition.

The best potatoe pies in Adelaide! As a matter of fact Australia biggest chunks of meat it's almost having meat, gravy and bread
