We organised a family get together to have a meal somewhere that none of us has been and thus settled on this place. Appearances from the outside made it look very authentic and welcoming but that was too good to be true. I arrived first with my wife and we decided to have a small shot of Sambuca, and the young waiter did not know what this was until we pointed it out on the menu. Eventually everyone else arrived, and so we started ordering our drinks. They have the same name wine listed under red wine and white, and every time we asked for a red wine, a white wine came. We visited this restaurant on the weekend and overall impression was quite good. The environment was cozy, however we found that the sofas is very comfy for a relaxed party drinking, just not for a family dinner . Speaking about the kitchen, there is the plenty room to improve, e.g. we ordered grilled chicken roll and pork steak, and everything arrived overcooked and absolutely dry. The side salad came with no salt or any other usual spices on it, we had to ask for the salt and pepper as it wasn 't served on the table. Fancied somewhere different to eat to we thought we would try a Russian meal and we were not disappointed the food was very good the meals are very large we all had starters and mains but struggled to finish our food. Staff friendly and helpful, very clean and tidy. Good prices 6 starters 6 mains and 2 rounds of drinks £144.00 so it was £24 per person for the amount of food you got it was well worth it.
If you are considering dining at this restaurant (if you can even call it that anymore) and spending your money at this dreadful place, think twice. You are better off going to McDonald's, trust me. The customer service and food there are far superior. I ordered a pizza and waited patiently for 2 hours. When I inquired about the status of my order, I was informed that they had lost it. We didn't have any intentions of coming here, but decided to try something new. The food was surprisingly delicious. The appetizer was larger than some entrees we've had at other restaurants. I've seen some comments about the service being quick, but we actually spent 2 hours there, giving us plenty of time to chat.
Have visited several times now. The menu has changed slightly but for better. The portion and prices are reasonable. comparing to other places the food is fresh, hot and delicious. Interior gives you an impression of a posh Russian place, did enjoy it as it’s different and not the same simple food place. <3
