after being very recommended by friends and family, I decided to go and my partner. I ordered the Camembert star who was foul. it tasted like ammoniacal, which looks like the cheese started to rot. the burning of ammonia was so strong. it actually felt like it burned my throat, so most of these £13.00 starter left. when the server commented on it, he rejected this as just a jealous cheese, and that it was their supplier. what a shocking reaction to a food conformity. after their pasta which was cut during the taste; therefore my two, and not a star rating, it was in the grunde a suppe with how watery the sauce was. we did not get any reduction for the consumption of foul cheese despite the mention. overall, I would not recommend it at all. the service was bad; slow and casual about the complaining. I didn't go out to argue if a £13.00 cheese starter should taste like acid or not.

The food here was absolutely amazing! I ordered Cod Chips with Peas and they made this meal taste so amazing despite this being a basic meal! My friend ordered a steak with peppercorn sauce and tender-stem broccoli and creamy mash. That was a masterpiece...and is definitely what £28 should give you! Thank you

This pub is lovely with lots of little intimate seating areas. We were given a warm welcome by attentive staff members. My friend enjoyed the duck salad and I loved the ham hock carbonara. The choice of pinot noir was also excellent! Good sized car...parks.

We had a family meal here last night. The ambience, service and food were excellent. I especially recommend the seafood pasta. It was delicious. We all enjoyed our meals and the sticky toffee pudding went down a treat. We will be back !

Been a regular here over the years but now I have to say the food was mediocre and far too expensive for what you get! I would return but not for anything more than a midday snack!!!!!
