I was here for a business dinner. We had reserved in advance for private sitting. My only issue was that I forgot to take some pics of what I had. As far as Stage House it was a busy Thursday night and the had a flawless execution across the boards. Host, wait staff, and kitchen staff; all were at an extremely high level. Amazing job everyone.
We love coming here, food is good , service is OK, and the history behind this building is fascinating. I love their patio , I just wish they would take reservations for outdoor sitting, as I go there with my family after church on Sundays, we're usually 14 people so it's difficult to find a table without reservations.
Bartenders treated me with zero respect despite me acting as polite as possible when my bill was twice what it usually is. Asked a simple question and was snapped at. Seems like those bartenders no longer work there. I assume this is an issue that stems from management. Likely never learned customer relations.
Our dining experience was quite underwhelming. Out of the four of us, three had incorrect orders, and the service left a lot to be desired. Our waiter was not only dismissive but also rude. They have a very small room in the back with 5 tables and loud talkers. They do make sound panels that you can buy this would make the experience of dining a better one. Love coming hate the extra noise.
I recently dined at a delightful historical tavern and had quite a mixed experience. The onion soup was distinctive, topped with fried onions, but I found it to be a bit too salty for my taste.
We really enjoy this location of the Stage House. The outdoor area is cozy and inviting. Kid-friendliness: Kids eat free on Wednesdays

The onion soup here is the best I've ever had, and the chocolate martini is incredible! It's a favorite among the locals!
